This week for my blog I decided to do a podcast about the use of Social Media for the Ohio Northern Men's Lacrosse team. We talked to head Coach Nat St. Laurent and his assistant Coach Rossie and found out how they use Social Media.
I think it's interesting how different platforms catch the attention of different people. Facebook would definitely be my go to if I wanted to get the attention of parents or older adults. I never really thought about using Instagram as a recruiting tool though. I suppose it would be a pretty good medium to show off pictures and videos. It seems like the coaches really know what they're doing. Good for them!
For my own interview I also interviewed a coach and found it interesting how they use similar techniques to recruit. They also both use different platforms for different audiences which is really cool.
